4pm Sunday 15th March

Come and watch the sunset over the marina with over 500 yachts in the bay. The Food and drink is superb and very reasonably priced. The club is from a time gone by and is a great place to relax.

As the club is in the main Cape Town port it is extremely secure and at the perimeter gates you just need to tell them that you are going to turn right and visit the club. Dont be surprised if they ask you for I.D!

The club is about 1km on the left side, again the reception will want to know where your going and of course your coming to our GNU Adventure party. After all that you will be ready to have a glass of wine and soak in the atmosphere!

Monday 9th March

Barley Corn

Every Monday at the Barley Corn you will be entertained by at least 3 great acts, The food is great and the drinks flow freely. There is a cover charge of R40 which in real money is about $3.50 or three quid if you’re from the UK! The music is wide-ranging and mainly from Cape Town Bands. The Barley Corn music club is the oldest music club in South Africa.

One thing is for sure you will leave with a skip in your step and money in your pocket!

Visit the Barley Corn website for directions and the low down.

River Lodge Blues Bar

Tuesday 10th March

The Blues Bar is a great place to chill out away from the sun and if your from Europe you will be protected in case of snow or ice! At this event there is no cover charge or entry fee, the bar is very reasonable and if you enjoy the acts you are free to throw a few Rand into a hat!

6.30pm Simba!

7,30pm Leonard Moss

This week we have a guest spot with Leonard Moss who will be doing an acoustic spot with a traditional African story so that you understand the pros and cons of leopard attacks. This is one of my favorite stories.

Simba is a local and national hit! He causes you to see things from the Funny side of the street. A great sense of humor and will have you smiling all the way home! Lots of laughs and a great guy to meet !

Afterward you are welcome to play games and have the craic with the locals.
